Deviled Eggs - Whole 30

Ingredients:

  • Boiled eggs 
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Brown mustard - no sugar 
  • Mayonnaise- made with avocado oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Cayenne Pepper 
  • Parsley 
Start:
  1. Boils eggs
  2. Dig it cooked tone and place in small bowl
  3. Mix in all the rest
  4. Stir
  5. Replace in egg white
  6. Garnish with parsley
  7. Eat! Yum!

Instant Pot - Split Pea Soup

Split Pea Soup in the Instant Pot

Ingredients

  • Split peas - 1/2 pound
  • Carrots - couple
  • Garlic - some cloves 
  • Onion - half
  • Chicken broth - one large carton
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Cumin
  • Cloves 
Start
  1. Soak peas overnight
  2. Chop up veggies
  3. Put ingredients in the Instant Pot
  4. Lock top / seal 
  5. Press soup botton 
  6. Wait 15 minutes !! 
That’s it! And it is soooo goooood!!!

Egg Casserole - Italian zing

Italian Egg Casserole

Candida Diet - Whole 30 - Keto Diet safe!

Ingredients:

  • Eggs
  • Pork breakfast sausage
  • Cauliflower rice
  • Cooked quinoa
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Italian seasonings
  • Lemon
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Parmesan (optional)
  • Salt & Pepper
Start:
  1. Cook sausage prior to cooking egg casserole - chop up in small bites
  2. Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil
  3. Sauté cauliflower rice, that’s when I put in all the seasonings 
  4. Set bottom of glass with a small layer of cooked quinoa
  5. Whisk eggs and pour and stir everything in a glass platter (Pyrex) to cook in oven
  6. Squeeze some lemon, pour a spoonful of apple cider vinegar, and sprinkle some Parmesan 
  7. Cook on 350 degrees for 30 minutes or so, until egg casserole is solid
Yum!! Full of protein! And no bad additives ;)

Ingredient:

  • Pepita Pumpkin Seeds
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Cinnamon 
  • Nutmeg 
  • Vanilla
Start:
  1. Soak the seeds overnight in water in the refrigerator 
  2. Drain water and add new water in Vitamix with seeds
  3. Sprinkle in you favorite seasonings ( mine are listed above) 
  4. And blend until a creamy thick substance forms 
  5. I add a spoonful or two to coffee and  Wala - we have a pumpkin spice latte!!!

Grain Free Cracker - Candida diet inspired

Grain Free Crackers
Candida diet inspired, Keto and Whole 30 safe

Ingredients:

  • Almond flour
  • Coconut flour
  • Egg
  • Rosemary 
  • Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper

Start:

  1. Mostly almond flour and a bit of coconut flour
  2. Crack egg
  3. Mix and maybe add a couple drops of water 
  4. Flatten on a baking sheet
  5. Sprinkle in your favorite seasonings, I like rosemary in my crackers
  6. Bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes check color and texture, add more time until edges are golden brown.

A good protein boost

Ingredients: 
  • Seeds
  • Lots of chia seeds 
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Flax seeds
  • Crushed up nuts (pecans or walnuts are good)
  • Salt and pepper 
  • Garlic and onion powder
  • Water
Start: 
  1. In a bowl, combine all seeds 
  2. A lot, I mean a lot of chia seeds
  3. A couple scoops of the other seeds and crushed nuts 
  4. You can add or subtract most ingredients, keep chia seeds! They hold the cracker together
  5. Add water slowly, stir and make a paste like substance
  6. Flatten on baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes on 350 degrees 
  7. Then flip and bake for another 20 minutes on 350 degrees 
  8. Should be pretty solid at end, then break into crackers
  9. Store in fridge

  • Tomato
  • Seasonings ( garlic, onion, Italian seasonings, salt & pepper ) 

Start:
  1.  Boil broth
  2. Add in cabbage and seasonings 
  3. Cook on medium heat for a bit
  4. Add chopped tomato
  5. Cook until soup infused into veggies then serve !

Smoked Turkey Bone Broth !
Candida diet - Keto - Whole 30

Ingredients:

  • Cooked turkey scraps and bones
  • Carrot
  • Celery
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Salt & pepper
  • Seasonings 

Start:
  1. Place turkey carcass in crock pot. May need to break bones :/
  2. Fill with whole or chopped veggies and seasonings
  3. One carrot, one stalk of celery, half an onion, couple cloves of garlic
  4. Cover all with water
  5. Cook on low for 10-12 hours 
  6. Strain out liquid and save in containers
  7. I freeze mine in small Tupperware for easy cooking later ;)

Walnut Mylk (Nut milk)

I made Walnut Mylk !
Whole 30 - Candida Diet Safe - Keto diet
Dairy Free - Vegan - Gluten free

It is so yum!

Ingredients:

  • Walnuts
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Vanilla
  • Cinnamon 

Start: 
  1. Soak Walnuts in water over night in fridge
  2. Rinse 
  3. Place in vitamix with a pinch of the other ingredients, Salt, vanilla, cinnamon
  4. Add water slowly, until it becomes your desired consistancy
  5. This time I made it thick and did not strain it, so it was extra yummy

Grain Free overnight “oats”

Keto snack - Whole 30 - Candida Diet safe
Grain free overnight oats
Dairy free - gluten free - vegan

Ingredients:

  • Nut mylk - I made my own walnut mylk! http://mycookingisamazing.blogspot.com/2018/05/walnut-mylk-nut-milk.html
  • Chia seeds
  • Nuts of any kind 
  • Berries if your diet will allow
  • Salt
  • Stevia
  • Cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon 
  • Vanilla extract 
  • Coconut oil
  • Nut butter 

Start:
  1. I like to use mason jars with a top
  2. One scoop of coconut oil and one scoop of nut butter (almond and cashew are my favorites)
  3. Melt in microwave for a couple seconds 
  4. Pour in nut mylk 3/4 of the jar
  5. Couple scoops of chia seeds
  6. Small handful of berries and nuts - blueberries are easy, pomegranate seeds (arils) are amazing! I like walnuts, cashews, or pecans for the nuts
  7. A pinch of salt, stevia, cocoa powder, and cinnamon 
  8. Mix well
  9. Wait over night or a couple hours 
  10. Liquid will plump the nuts and the chia seeds will thicken mylk ;)

Pot Roast Crock Pot  - Candida - Keto - Whole 30 safe!

Ingredients:

  • So many veggies!! 
  • Pot (chuck) Roast
  • Beef broth
  • Zuchinni
  • Sweet potato
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Fennel
  • Cauliflower
  • Tomato 
  • Celery
  • Lemon
  • Fennel seeds
  • Italian Seasonings
  • Salt & Pepper
Start:
  1. Cut up and put everything in the crock pot! 
  2. Pour in broth
  3. Season the pot of food ;) 
  4. Cook on high for one hour, then low for 7 hours 
  5. Can serve over egg noodles if not on those diets ;) 
  6. Yummy yum!

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower 
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Any Italian Seasoning
  • Garlic
  • That is it!
Start :
  1. I like to slice the Cauliflower uniform and thin
  2. Sprinkle everything on
  3. Roast on 350 degrees for about 20 minutes
  4. I love putting these on a salad! 

Fat Bomb - Energy Ball - Candida, Keto, Whole 30 Diet

Fat Bombs ! Energy Ball

Candida - Keto - Whole 30

Ingredients:

  • Coconut Oil
  • Coconut Flour
  • Cocoa powder
  • Flax Seeds
  • Cashew (nut) Butter
  • Salt
  • No sugar! You don't need it :) 

Start:

  1. Take a lot of coconut oil and cashew butter (5 spoonfuls)
  2. A spoonful of cocoa powder, coconut flour, and flax seed
  3. A pinch of salt
  4. Heat up on stove and stir 
  5. Pour into bite size jello moldings or ice cube tray and freeze for 30 minutes
  6. My choice is my USC Trojan molds which have never been used for jello shots :)
  7. Store in freezer and eat when hungry ! also great for dessert!
